As a self-hosted service, you are in control when it comes to what content to share, and you can be sure that no data is stored on servers in the cloud. All PicApport connections are protected by SSL encryption, so no one on your network can intercept your unencrypted data. PicApport also allows you to create users, restricting the content each of them can see.

Smart tagging with the help of AI

Thanks to PicApport's automatic tagging system powered by artificial intelligence, the program can analyze the content of your images and add relevant tags without the need for manual intervention. It also takes existing geographic data from your photos, using OpenStreetMap to identify countries, places and points of interest. This feature allows you to find a photo more easily so you don't have to search for it manually. If the AI doesn't assign the tags correctly, you can edit the metadata and information by hand.

Support for multiple formats

PicApport supports a wide range of formats, including RAW images (.nef, .cr2 and .dng) and videos in .mp4, .webm and .avi. You can also view classic formats such as .jpg or .png. Your content can be accessed from other devices using the Android PicApport app, and you can share the content from your smartphone to synchronize it with your server.
